Description

In April the Cheshire meadows are speckled with golden dandelion flowers and the stronger hives produce a small crop of this bright golden-yellow honey.

It has a light, bitter, slightly astringent flavour and is mildly-sweet with a herbal and slightly vinegary aroma.

It crystallises fairly quickly and its colour will darken as it does.
