We have currently sold out of all our runny honey and are very low in stock of many of the set ones. This is mainly due to the very cold May this year that has put the bees and us back about five weeks. The bees are currently hard at work on the bean fields and we are busy extracting a rather disappointing June blossom crop so hopefully will have more on the shelves in a couple of weeks. Please bear with us.
The first cut comb of the season has started coming in. It’s from apiaries situated next to bean fields but the bees seem to have decided to add a delicious mix of elderflower, bramble, clover and honeysuckle in there too. Available to order online for collection from the honey shop only, A maximum of one per customer to help spread the yumminess!
As you may have noticed, we are almost out of stock of all our large jars of multifloral runny honeys. Also, due to the very cold, wet and windy May we have just suffered, the Spring crop this year is much less than usual. Hopefully the sudden spell of warmer weather June is promising will bring in a bumper Summer harvest.
