Bax Bees is a family run beekeeping business based in Plumley, Cheshire, providing honey and bee related products sourced from our hives. The head beekeeper, Henry Baxendell started keeping bees as a hobby over thirty years ago and now we are one of the area’s largest honey producers with more than thirty apiaries in rural areas around Knutsford, Peover, Plumley, Northwich, Ashley, Tabley and Hale. We produce as natural and sustainable product as possible.
Come and visit the Honey House in Plumley, and take a look at the honey extraction facility, the bees hard at work in the observation hive and browse the huge range of local honeys!
In addition to our range of great honeys we also make a range of natural products using beeswax and propolis from the hives.
We are a member of the Bee Farmers Association, the Cheshire Bee Keepers Association and are registered with the National Bee Unit & our bees are regularly checked by DEFRA.
